Starting therapy is an investment in yourself, and I want the process of getting started to feel as straightforward as possible. Below you'll find information about fees, insurance, scheduling, and what to expect when working together.
My standard fee for all therapy sessions is $250 per 50 minute session. In some cases I will do pro-rated 30 minute sessions
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
A superbill is a document that includes information about the therapy services you receive. You can submit it to your insurance company to request out-of-network reimbursement.
Coverage and reimbursement vary depending on your individual insurance plan. I recommend contacting your insurance company before beginning therapy to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits, deductible, and reimbursement rates.
Yes! I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spaces based on financial need. If cost is a concern, please feel free to reach out to discuss availability.
The first step is reaching out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us an opportunity to connect, talk about what brings you to therapy, and determine whether working together feels like a good fit.
We'll briefly discuss what you're looking for in therapy, what you'd like support with, logistics, and any questions you have about my approach. It's also an opportunity for you to get a sense of me and decide whether you feel comfortable moving forward.
That's completely okay! You don't need to arrive with a clear set of goals or even know exactly how to describe what you're feeling. We can use our time together to explore what's coming up and identify what feels most important.
Yes! I offer in-person therapy in Los Angeles in Miracle Mile near Hancock Park and virtual therapy throughout California.
Yes, I offer both daytime and evening appointments. Please reach out to discuss current availability.
Frequency depends on your needs, goals, and circumstances. My clients begin with weekly sessions, but may reduce to every other week or monthly sessions as their needs and schedules change.
There isn't a universal timeline. Some people come to therapy to work through a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term therapy to explore deeper patterns and personal growth. We'll regularly check in about your goals and progress.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and relational. I integrate EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS/Parts Work), Narrative Therapy, and Mindful Self-Compassion. I tailor our work to your individual needs, balancing deeper exploration and processing with practical tools for everyday life.
Therapy with me involves both exploration and practical skill-building. Depending on your needs, we may work on understanding recurring patterns, processing difficult experiences, developing communication skills, or finding new ways to navigate challenging situations.
Finding the right therapist matters. If I don't feel I'm the best fit for your needs, I'll do my best to help connect you with someone who may be a better match. I always welcome and encourage feeback from my clients. You deserve support, even if that support doesn't come from me.
You don't have to figure everything out before reaching out. I'd love to connect, hear a little about what brings you to therapy, and answer any questions you may have.
